The District Assistant Manager – Multi-Site Retail role is onsite across Bel Air, Owings Mills, and surrounding locations in Maryland. Compensation is $19.10–$22.10 per hour, plus a $1.50-per-hour bilingual differential for English/Spanish. Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake operates retail stores and promotes its organizational mission and values. The floating assistant manager provides leadership coverage across stores, supports daily operations and staff supervision, and helps maintain consistent customer service and operational standards. The role may serve as acting Store Manager when the Store Manager is not onsite.

What you'll do

• Support store managers across multiple locations
• provide leadership coverage and reinforce policies and customer service standards
• assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management
• help achieve sales goals and manage labor and operating expenses
• direct donation-processing workflow and merchandising
• resolve escalated customer concerns
• support safety and loss prevention
• assist customers and donors
• perform register, stocking, and processing tasks as needed.
