MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist role is onsite in Meriden, CT, with multiple shifts available. Compensation is $35.50–$56.48 per hour, plus competitive shift differentials. The technologist supports Midstate Radiology Associates’ diagnostic imaging services. This role performs MRI examinations and assists radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, producing accurate images to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

What you'll do

• Perform MRI scans using appropriate techniques and patient assessments
• assist radiologists with complex invasive MRI exams using sterile technique
• start or assess intravenous sites and administer contrast according to protocols
• follow MRI safety policies
• maintain and disinfect equipment
• review orders and patient records
• document exam information and archive images
• prepare studies in PACS and enter procedure data in RIS
• perform weekly quality assurance testing
• collaborate with department staff
• and provide clinical instruction to students. May rotate on night, weekend, or holiday call schedules and may cover ancillary offices.
