The Lead CNC Machinist — 2nd Shift role is an onsite, full-time position in Round Rock, TX, paying $30–$40 per hour. Fathom is a digital manufacturing platform serving technology, defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, and IoT sectors. The machinist sets up and operates CNC vertical machining centers and horizontal lathes, performs manual data input programming and part inspections, and monitors work for quality and safety. The role also supports team problem-solving and Lean manufacturing events.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers and horizontal lathes
• perform MDI programming
• inspect parts with manual gauges and instruments
• read 2-D drawings and apply GD&T
• monitor parts during machining
• follow quality and safety procedures
• collaborate on technical issues
• participate in Lean manufacturing events.
