The Fabrication and Repair Technician is an onsite role in Marion, VA. Compensation is $28.16 per hour. What you'll do

• Trim laminated composite parts using fixtures, cutters, sanders, and routers
• apply tapers
• perform assembly and detail operations including drilling, reaming, countersinking, installing hinges, inserts, bushings, rivets, fasteners, and related hardware
• clean stiffeners with solvent and apply promoter
• bond and detail components
• repair finished parts by cutting down or building up thickness
• patch with fiberglass cloth
• remove improperly bonded ribs
• replace rivets and make stems flush
• inspect dimensions and tolerances with measuring tools
• record process data on the router.
