The Custodian – Shelter and Facility Services role is onsite in Denver, CO. Pay is $20.75–$22.31 per hour. The position maintains cleanliness at Denver Rescue Mission shelters and other facilities, supporting the organization’s services for residents and program participants. The custodian cleans and sanitizes facilities, maintains equipment and supplies, follows safety and infection-control procedures, and may train and supervise program participants completing work readiness in Custodial Services.

What you'll do

• Operate cleaning machines and equipment
• complete client request forms
• clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces
• address spills using bloodborne-pathogen procedures
• maintain equipment and submit repair requests
• support infection control and pest protocols
• restock supplies
• dispose of trash
• secure storage and offices
• train and supervise program participants
• and provide emergency-shelter coverage as needed.

Why this role
