Compensation is $11–$13 per hour. The Director of Operations role is onsite in Libertyville, IL, north of Chicago. The role supports a medtech partner described as a diversified manufacturer of products that improve the world. Reporting to the General Manager, the director manages day-to-day operations and core functions to achieve operational excellence. The role aligns production, delivery, financial goals, business-unit plans, and cross-functional operations with customer requirements and strategic goals.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day operations
• support production and on-time delivery to customer specifications and cost goals
• define operational financial goals and business-unit assignments
• execute operational programs aligned with strategic plans
• review key operating indicators with executive business leaders
• attend customer business reviews
• direct purchasing, production control, planning, engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, and logistics
• support workforce recruitment and retention.
