Head of Go-to-Market – Cortex Insights

Job overview

The Head of Go-to-Market – Cortex Insights role requires Maryland/Baltimore-area presence and travel to municipal clients and govtech events. Compensation is equity-first; the cash component and structure are open and negotiable. The role owns commercial development for Cortex Insights, ExeQut’s AI intelligence product for 311 and municipal operations. The role is responsible for converting early municipal interest into paying customers and building a repeatable go-to-market approach. It shapes pricing, procurement strategy, partnerships, positioning, and pipeline reporting while the product and delivery teams are already in place.

What you'll do

• Close initial municipal clients and build a repeatable commercial motion
• define pricing, packaging, contract structure, and procurement path
• navigate government procurement cycles, budgets, RFPs, and sole-source vehicles
• develop channel and partner relationships
• own product positioning and sales narrative
• build and manage pipeline and report commercial progress to ExeQut leadership.
