What you'll do

• Inspect, test, and maintain protective relays, control systems, and associated equipment
• install relays and control devices to specifications and standards
• test and calibrate relays
• diagnose and repair relay and control-system faults
• maintain maintenance and repair records
• follow safety protocols for live electrical equipment
• participate in emergency response during outages, storms, or other critical situations
• collaborate with utility personnel
• monitor contractors when required.
