Medication Refill Specialist

The Medication Refill Specialist role is an onsite, full-time position in Derry, NH. Compensation is $18 per hour. DMC Primary Care is a physician-owned independent practice providing comprehensive care for families across southern New Hampshire.

What you'll do

• Support clinical staff by reviewing refill requests and checking medication protocols and guidelines. Manage requests from phone, e-prescribing, mailboxes, patient portals, and fax
• calculate refill timing
• process refills for provider authorization
• telephone or fax prescriptions to pharmacies as directed
• update medication information in the electronic medical record
• and complete requests within designated timeframes. The schedule is 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday, with a Saturday rotation and a weekday off.
