The Medical Assistant, Dermatology and Skin Surgery role is onsite in Leland, NC, with hourly pay of $21–$23. Intracoastal Dermatology and Skin Surgery provides skin care, surgical, and cosmetic services to the Leland and greater Wilmington community. The assistant supports dermatologists and clinical staff during patient visits and procedures. Patient preparation, documentation, procedure assistance, and coordination help maintain patient flow and support dermatologic care.

What you'll do

• Assist with patient exams, procedures, and skin surgery preparation
• room patients and record vital signs and histories in the EHR
• prepare exam rooms, surgical trays, and sterile fields
• assist with biopsies, excisions, Mohs, and cosmetic treatments
• educate patients on post-procedure care
• coordinate patient flow
• label specimens and track lab results.

Why this role
