What you'll do

• Operate mammography equipment and produce diagnostic images
• position patients and optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• explain procedures and address patient concerns
• maintain patient records
• perform quality control and routine equipment maintenance
• report equipment issues
• monitor supplies
• maintain required certifications and Maine licensure
• provide orientation and training to new mammography technologists.
