Early Childhood Teacher

The Early Childhood Teacher role is onsite in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Pay is $14–$15 per hour. The teacher supports Lily Pad Learning Center’s care and education of children from 6 weeks to 5 years, primarily infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and develop. By planning age-appropriate curriculum, guiding classroom activities, communicating with families, and supporting assistants, the role contributes to children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement curriculum and classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• lead by example and model and coach the teaching team
• plan individual and group activities
• communicate with parents through discussions, progress reports, and conferences
• follow center policies and state regulations
• maintain classroom hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and security
• supervise assistants and volunteers
• maintain records
• maintain a professional development plan.
