Part-Time Trash Valet Porter — Evening Route

The Part-Time Trash Valet Porter — Evening Route role is onsite in the South Salt Lake area, with routes serving apartment communities in the Millcreek and South Salt Lake area. Pay is $20 per hour at standard sites and $25 per hour at sites requiring a personal open-bed pickup truck. WSI provides valet trash and recycling services to apartment communities. The porter collects bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents’ doors and transports it to onsite disposal or recycling areas. The role also includes separating recycling, checking for contamination, cleaning common areas, and documenting route activity through a mobile app. The schedule is Monday through Friday evenings, typically starting at 6:30 or 7:00 PM for one to two hours; the posting states no weekends are required.

What you'll do

• Walk assigned apartment communities
• collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents’ doors
• transport materials to dumpsters, chutes, or compactors
• separate recycling and check for contamination
• clean loose trash in common areas
• document routes and upload photos through a mobile app
• leave courtesy notices when needed
• may assist with pet waste station servicing.
