Junior Development Coach – Alpine, Freestyle, and Snowboard

Job overview

The Junior Development Coach role is onsite in West Dover, VT, for the winter 2026/2027 season. The stated pay range is $21–$40 per hour. Vail Resorts’ role supports athlete development through ski and snowboard instruction in a safe and fun environment. The coach works with a designated group of athletes of similar age and skill, teaching and coaching them toward progression in their chosen discipline. The role also supervises athletes, supports training and competitions, and assists with related competition services and program operations.

What you'll do

• Provide ski or snowboard instruction and athlete coaching
• uphold safety guidelines
• match athletes to appropriate skill levels and coordinate changes with supervisors
• assist guests with chairlift loading and unloading
• supervise athletes during training and competitions
• support registration, equipment fitting referrals, training-area upkeep, and facility cleanliness.
