The Dietary Cook – Skilled Nursing Facility role is onsite in Pomona, CA, with an anticipated pay range of $19.50–$22.50 per hour. Inland Valley Rehabilitation & Care Center provides skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior living services. The cook supports residents’ dining and nutrition needs by preparing and portioning food, assembling trays and carts, and maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas. The role also helps coordinate food quantities and supervise dietary staff to support resident service.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to residents, families, coworkers, and vendors
• pre-assemble resident trays and carts
• assist with food preparation and serve residents in skilled dining
• attend menu conferences and plan food quantities
• clean and wash small equipment
• supervise dietary aides, relief cook, and afternoon cook
• maintain dining room cleanliness
• transport dishes and trash
• restock areas
• and attend mandatory in-service meetings.
