What you'll do

• Greet patients and handle check-in, check-out, scheduling, calls, messages, and follow-up
• maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
• verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• submit and follow up on claims and payments
• explain charges and benefits
• fill in for the optometric technician as needed
• assist the lead optician with eyewear selection, ordering, tracking, dispensing, and adjustments.
