Service Operations Associate

The Service Operations Associate works onsite in Charlotte, NC, during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; occasional early or late hours may be needed. Base pay is $27–$31 per hour. The role supports Mercer Advisors’ Client Service department and its work helping families manage their financial lives. This centralized operations role processes client requests accurately and consistently, supporting Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors behind the scenes. Its work helps maintain service quality, operational controls, and regulatory compliance while enabling a seamless client experience.

What you'll do

• Process client paperwork and documentation
• execute wire, ACH, and journal-entry requests under firm and custodian policies
• manage service requests in a shared queue
• maintain transaction records in CRM and custodial platforms
• coordinate with custodians and third-party platforms
• follow compliance standards and internal controls
• collaborate with Relationship Managers, Wealth Advisors, and internal departments
• identify inefficiencies
• document procedures
• support onboarding and training as needed.
