What you'll do

• Greet and room patients
• obtain weight and vital signs
• review medical information and medications
• start and administer therapies and ordered medications
• review screeners and alert the physician to abnormal results
• provide treatment instructions
• verify patient identity and medication dosage
• monitor patients and assess status before discharge
• maintain logs, charts, supplies, and inventory
• comply with controlled-substance regulations.
