Vascular Neurologist

Compensation is $90,000–$120,000 per year. The Vascular Neurologist role is onsite in Detroit, MI; Henry Ford Health’s mission includes delivering exceptional care, advancing health outcomes, and building healthier communities. The physician provides specialized care for cerebrovascular disease and vascular neurological conditions. The role contributes to comprehensive patient care and clinical practice by diagnosing and treating patients, coordinating with specialists, and participating in research and quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cerebrovascular diseases, including stroke, transient ischemic attacks, and intracranial stenosis
• perform neurological examinations and interpret CT angiography, MR angiography, and digital subtraction angiography
• develop evidence-based treatment plans
• collaborate with neurointerventional radiologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists
• evaluate patients for thrombolytic therapy and anticoagulation
• maintain patient records
• participate in rounds, case conferences, research, and quality improvement
• provide consultations
• maintain professional knowledge through continuing education.
