The Manual Machinist — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Westminster, SC, with compensation of $20 per hour. RBC AeroStructures LLC manufactures aerospace structures and components. The machinist sets up and operates manually controlled machines to produce parts to specification. The role supports production quality by interpreting blueprints, measuring and inspecting machined products, documenting results, and following safety and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up, tend, and operate manually controlled lathes, drill presses, vertical mills, and/or swaging machines
• read and interpret blueprints
• use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerances
• select, align, secure, and remove fixtures, tools, attachments, and materials
• inspect machined products and document results
• maintain parts paperwork
• perform basic troubleshooting
• follow ISO requirements, safety policies, and quality instructions.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification is a plus. 1–3 years of machine experience required. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; heavier objects require assistance.
