The assistant provides one-on-one support to a physically disabled adult recovering from an injury. Personal care, household assistance, companionship, and following the care plan help maintain the client’s dignity, comfort, and daily routine.

What you'll do

• Assist with restroom needs, showering, personal care, and transfers
• provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and help with outings, shopping, and errands
• assist with ambulation and transportation
• follow the care plan
• complete documentation and charting
• communicate respectfully and reliably.
