The Prep Cook role is an onsite position in Beverly Hills, CA, paying $19–$20 per hour. Pura Vida Miami’s mission is to provide simple, wholesome food and beverages with an intimate, fast, and consistent customer experience. The cook prepares ingredients and supports kitchen operations by following recipes, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation, and keeping the workstation organized. The role also assists with inventory, deliveries, cleaning, and cross-training across restaurant roles.

What you'll do

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen needs
• measure and mix ingredients
• maintain an organized workstation and store food safely
• follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• operate kitchen equipment safely
• label and store ingredients and notify the Kitchen Manager of low stock
• perform daily and deep cleaning
• receive and store deliveries
• cross-train across restaurant roles
• perform additional assigned duties.
