What you'll do

• Provide legal guidance to executives and operational teams
• represent the company in court proceedings, administrative hearings, disputes, and litigation
• manage outside counsel
• draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
• ensure compliance with Michigan healthcare regulations, labor laws, and licensing requirements
• handle employment-law matters
• develop compliance programs and policies
• support expansion, acquisitions, licensing, and regulatory filings
• oversee HIPAA, privacy, and risk initiatives
• monitor healthcare and Medicaid legal changes.
