Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role is fully onsite in Shoreline, Washington, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $40–$50 per hour. Addison Group is partnering with a higher-education client to support a unionized workforce. The role advises leaders and independently handles employee relations, recruitment, investigations, and labor relations. It supports fair and legally compliant employment practices through policy guidance, workforce planning, HR operations, and collaboration with managers and employees.

What you'll do

• Advise leaders on HR matters, performance, conduct, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning
• manage faculty and professional recruitment
• handle employee relations matters and workplace investigations
• coach managers on corrective action and conflict resolution
• interpret collective bargaining agreements
• support compliance, grievances, leave, and accommodations
• maintain HR records and improve HR processes.
