Job overview

The Care Worker role is onsite in Tyler, TX, with shifts assigned at a 24-hour facility; work may include holidays and weekends. Compensation is $15 per hour. The role supports children in Azleway’s Valley View program through trauma-informed care. The care worker provides continuous supervision, supports daily living and academic activities, coordinates routines and appointments, documents resident progress, and helps maintain a nurturing and safe environment. The role contributes to residents’ well-being through consistent, person-centered care and collaboration with the care team.

What you'll do

• Document resident behaviors and progress
• support daily living activities
• provide a nurturing environment
• coordinate appointments and activities
• assist with homework and recreation
• coordinate routines, meals, laundry, housekeeping, and prescribed medication administration
• maintain cottage operations and supervise residents
• transport residents as needed.
