The Millwork Estimator — Residential & Commercial Projects role is primarily onsite in Hugo, MN, with possible hybrid or remote work up to two days a week after training. Pay is $21–$25 per hour. Schwieters Companies provides turnkey interior-finish solutions, including procurement, prefabrication, delivery, and installation. The estimator prepares labor and material estimates and customer proposals for residential projects and some commercial work. By interpreting project documents, verifying site conditions, and coordinating with sales, project managers, and estimators, the role supports accurate project planning and delivery.

What you'll do

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents to estimate labor and materials
• obtain vendor pricing
• use On-Screen Takeoff to generate quantities and detailed estimates for prefinish, millwork, and finish carpentry
• conduct field visits and verify measurements
• prepare proposals with an assigned Sales/Project Manager
• review estimates with other estimators
• organize information across multiple projects
• communicate with project stakeholders.
