The Preschool Assistant Teacher / Bus Driver role is onsite in Hamlet, NC, with pay of $15.24–$18.50 per hour. Union County Community Action supports Head Start classrooms and safe transportation for children and families in the community. The role assists teachers with classroom activities and lesson plans, supports children’s development and supervision, maintains classroom records, and helps transport children by driving or monitoring buses. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m.–2:45 p.m.

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson plans

• maintain classroom documentation and records
• supervise children indoors and outdoors
• assist with transportation by driving or monitoring buses
