The manager leads tax compliance, planning, and provision engagements while maintaining technical quality, accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. The role also supervises and mentors staff, serves as a primary client contact, and contributes to client development and practice growth.

What you'll do

• Review federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals
• lead tax compliance, planning, and provision engagements
• review estimated tax payments and extensions
• research tax issues
• anticipate and resolve client issues
• coach and mentor staff
• supervise teams
• manage client billing, realization, and collections
• develop practice-development plans and pursue networking and client expansion.
