What you'll do

• Support Medicare and Medicaid regulatory compliance and monitor and report identified issues
• ensure staff orientation and regular in-service education
• communicate with residents and loved ones
• promote safe nursing procedures, counsel staff, provide performance feedback, and contribute to annual reviews
• review regulatory changes and assess training needs
• support chart reviews, counseling, and rounding
• maintain current standards of practice, quality assurance, and infection control knowledge
• work with infection prevention on antibiotic stewardship and infection prevention
• coordinate information for continuity of care and discharge planning
• participate in the 24/7 on-call and weekend rotation and take resident-care assignments as needed.
