Senior Piping Designer

The Senior Piping Designer role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO. Compensation is not specified. The designer supports Vestal Corporation’s engineering projects by leading mechanical piping scopes of work. The role exists to develop and coordinate piping designs that meet project requirements and support safe, maintainable, and constructible installations. It also contributes through design quality reviews, coordination with other disciplines, and guidance for junior designers.

What you'll do

• Prepare piping scopes of work and assist with deliverables and man-hour budgets
• lead piping layouts and general arrangements
• use AutoCAD Plant 3D and, when required, Revit
• coordinate with clients, project staff, and other disciplines
• apply piping codes and project specifications
• review models, drawings, and isometrics
• mentor junior designers
• support construction RFIs and field changes
• maintain drafting standards.

Why this role
