Opioid Treatment Program Medical Director

The Opioid Treatment Program Medical Director role is onsite in Roseburg, OR, with pay of $118–$125 per hour. The position provides clinical leadership for a tribally operated treatment program. The Medical Director oversees medical quality, clinical protocols, medication safety, and provider oversight, while coordinating care with behavioral health, traditional wellness resources, and community recovery services to support patient-centered treatment and recovery.

What you'll do

• Oversee evidence-based evaluation and treatment of opioid use disorder, including methadone and buprenorphine
• establish and review clinical protocols
• coordinate care with primary care, behavioral health, psychiatry, emergency services, and other programs
• oversee regulatory compliance and confidentiality
• guide medication safety and overdose prevention
• and lead quality assurance and performance improvement.

Why this role

Requires an MD or DO, an unrestricted physician license, current DEA registration, applicable OTP Medical Director qualifications, experience treating opioid or other substance use disorders, and clinical leadership experience. Addiction specialty board certification is preferred.
