What you'll do

• Provide float coverage across billing, insurance follow-up, claim creation, patient collections, and assigned projects
• create and review claims
• follow up on complex insurance claims
• review CPT and ICD-10 coding
• research and appeal denials and underpayments
• document payer communications and patient data
• consult with providers and revenue-cycle staff to resolve discrepancies
• identify opportunities to reduce denials and improve claim quality
• handle confidential records in a compliant manner.
