Job overview

The Software Engineering Consulting Intern – Summer 2027 is an onsite internship in Richmond, VA. Pay is $30 per hour. The 10-week Elevate program takes place in person at CapTech’s Richmond headquarters and simulates a client engagement. The intern works on a self-led team with guidance from full-time consultants to design and implement a solution to a business problem. The program provides exposure to the full life cycle of an IT consulting project and supports client work through application development and collaboration with stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Design and develop applications using front-end and back-end technologies
• partner with client stakeholders to build systems
• manage parallel development and code versioning with Git
• work on an integrated team to design and implement a solution to a business problem.
