Behavioral Health Technician — Substance Use Treatment

The Behavioral Health Technician role is onsite in Falls Church, VA. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The position supports Recovery Unplugged’s licensed drug and alcohol treatment center, which blends evidence-based treatment with music. The technician supports clients through intake and discharge procedures, drug testing, periodic safety checks, transportation to groups and outings, and maintaining a safe, orderly property. The work contributes to the center’s substance use treatment programs, including PHP and IOP.

What you'll do

• Build rapport and open communication with clients
• support house rules and a safe environment
• conduct intake tasks, drug tests, searches, and KIPU forms
• complete discharge procedures
• perform waived and random urine drug tests
• conduct Q15 and Q30 safety checks
• transport clients to groups, meetings, and outings
• maintain property cleanliness and order.
