What you'll do

• Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose conditions and care needs
• treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting feet and ankles
• manage wound care
• use medical histories, examinations, imaging, and laboratory results to diagnose foot and ankle diseases and deformities
• prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate
• advise patients on treatment and prevention
• educate and consult with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• maintain medical records and updates.
