Quality Technician

Job overview

The Quality Technician role is onsite in Elyria, OH, with compensation of $20–$32 per hour. The position supports factory operations by addressing supplier and in-process product issues that could disrupt part availability. The technician helps keep manufacturing operations supplied with conforming parts by resolving discrepancies, supporting containment and corrective actions, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The work also contributes to customer service and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Resolve day-to-day supplier and internal product discrepancies
• communicate with suppliers to support product availability
• assist with nonconforming-parts containment
• help validate supplier and internal corrective actions
• review first article inspections, PPAPs, and quality documentation
• coordinate customer-returned goods
• participate in problem solving, kaizen events, and high-performance teams
• maintain department 5S.
