The Tool & Die Technician – 2nd Shift role is onsite in La Vergne, TN. Compensation is $27–$33 per hour. The technician works with Anchor Fabrication’s engineering and production personnel to fabricate, repair, and maintain tooling and specialized equipment. The role operates machine tools, interprets technical drawings and specifications, and verifies that machined parts meet requirements. It supports production by maintaining dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and related tools, and by providing technical assistance on complex setups and operations.

What you'll do

• Repair, construct, alter, and maintain dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, machine components, and tooling
• set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• verify parts against drawings and specifications
• assist other tool and die makers, machinists, and press personnel
• work with Engineering on machine and tooling repairs
• interpret blueprints and determine materials and machining sequences.
