Commercial Construction Site Superintendent

The Commercial Construction Site Superintendent role is onsite in Nappanee, IN; compensation is $30–$40 per hour. The superintendent oversees construction site operations and coordinates subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field crews. The role exists to keep projects progressing safely, efficiently, and within schedule, budget, and quality expectations. It connects field execution with project stakeholders by monitoring work, resolving site issues, and maintaining project documentation and material readiness.

What you'll do

• Supervise daily site operations
• coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field crews
• monitor productivity, progress, schedules, and budgets
• ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and construction standards
• inspect equipment, materials, and sites
• prepare reports, schedules, and redlined plans
• collaborate to resolve site issues
• assist with field labor and operate equipment as directed
• train team members
• maintain a clean and secure site
• take and upload site photographs
• complete paperwork and travel between sites as needed
• ensure materials and equipment are available.
