Resident Caregiver – Day Shift

Job overview

The Resident Caregiver – Day Shift role is onsite in Bowdon, GA. Pay is $12–$14 per hour depending on experience and certification. Front Porch of Bowdon is a small licensed senior living community with more than 30 residents and an onsite owner and management team. The caregiver provides hands-on personal care and daily support to residents, including residents living with dementia. The role observes and documents care, responds to call lights, and coordinates written handoffs to help maintain continuity and resident safety.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and incontinence care
• support transfers, repositioning, and mobility
• serve meals and snacks and assist with feeding
• respond to call lights
• observe and report changes in condition
• document care and complete written shift handoffs
• keep rooms and common areas safe
• support residents with dementia
• follow care plans, facility policies, and state regulations.
