The Medical Assistant / Front Desk — Urgent Care role is onsite at Fast Track Urgent Care clinics in Florissant and Woodson Terrace, Missouri. Pay is $17–$24 per hour. The clinics provide walk-in care for conditions and services including colds, cuts, DOT physicals, STI testing, and primary care. The role covers both front-desk and clinical support so patients can move through check-in, rooming, testing, and provider care. It contributes to clinic operations by managing patient information and payments while assisting providers with routine clinical tasks.

What you'll do

• Check in walk-in and booked patients
• verify insurance and coverage
• collect payments and close the register
• answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle faxes
• room patients, take vitals, and record histories and medications in the EMR
• perform point-of-care tests
• draw blood and handle specimens
• perform EKGs, TB skin tests, injections, and vaccines under provider orders
• assist with minor procedures and physicals
• clean and restock rooms.
