CNC Mill-Turn Setup Operator

Job overview

The CNC Mill-Turn Setup Operator works onsite in Cocoa, FL. Compensation is $27.50–$32.50 per hour. The role supports machining production, with emphasis on new-product launch and prove-out as well as continuous improvement for existing product lines. This operator sets up and runs CNC Mill-Turn equipment, maintaining quality and safety while documenting production. The work helps prove out new parts, fixtures, and tooling and improve machining results across production jobs.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC Mill-Turn machines and fixtures
• perform drilling, milling, and turning
• prove out new products, fixtures, and tooling and document processes for operator training
• monitor machines and adjust offsets
• plan machining from work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications
• maintain safety procedures and production and quality logs
• communicate shift needs and issues to the Production Manager.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of CNC Mill-Turn setup-to-finish experience, Fanuc or other CNC controls, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining; 3+ years editing CNC Mill-Turn programs. Monday–Thursday, 4:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.; overtime as needed. Background and drug screening and ATF firearm-possession requirements apply.
