License and Permit Specialist

The License and Permit Specialist role is onsite in Dallas, TX, paying $21.50 per hour. It contributes to public service by explaining requirements, making determinations under applicable policies, and keeping daily processing moving.

What you'll do

• Explain driver-license requirements, traffic laws, safety regulations, and related topics
• screen applicants, review documents, administer tests, and process applications
• communicate with stakeholders about applications
• enter application data and payments
• advise applicants about suspensions and reinstatement
• capture applicant information and photographs
• inspect vehicles and administer road tests
• make examination determinations
• meet accuracy, quality, and daily processing expectations.
