IT Technician

Job overview

The IT Technician role is onsite in Irving, TX, with pay of $23–$25 per hour. The technician supports the Norm Reeves TechTeam in an employee- and occasionally customer-facing role serving the CAR Group’s dealership systems and users. The role resolves service desk and onsite technology issues, onboards users, and maintains hardware, software, and network systems. Timely support and documentation help minimize disruption to business operations and maintain user satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Complete service desk tickets and document them accurately
• follow up on ticket status
• help meet ticket and KPI goals
• maintain customer satisfaction
• participate in process improvements
• onboard and offboard users
• provide priority and after-hours support when on call for emergencies
• perform routine maintenance
• maintain cable management and technology areas
• troubleshoot systems and recommend upgrades
• escalate issues and provide progress updates.
