Property Controller — Resort Accounting

What you'll do

• Oversee resort accounting, including month-end journal entries, reconciliations, cash handling, and income audits
• prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
• perform variance analysis
• maintain internal controls and conduct surprise cash audits
• resolve guest credit, deposit, and revenue discrepancies
• support budgets and forecasts
• ensure HOA accounting compliance
• provide reports to leadership
• supervise and develop accounting staff
• support year-end audits and accounting projects.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience, required; at least seven years of accounting experience required. Hospitality or resort accounting management experience is strongly preferred; CPA or CMA is preferred but not required.
