This role exists to provide comprehensive patient management, including gynecological surgery, patient histories, physical exams, and daily rounds. The physician assistant will collaborate with the OB-GYN surgery team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
What you'll do
- Patient management including gynecological surgery, minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery
- perform patient histories and physical exams
- handle daily patient rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, daily documentation, and discharge summaries
- order and interpret medications and diagnostic tests
- monitor and manage patients' course of treatment.
