The Laboratory / Medical Technologist role is onsite in Gainesville, FL, and compensation is not specified. The schedule is either Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5:30 PM, or Monday–Thursday, 7 AM–5 PM. The technologist supports SIMEDHealth's Gainesville Laboratory and testing services for its network of more than 100 providers. The role performs routine and moderately complex testing and helps ensure accurate, reliable results through quality control, equipment maintenance, specimen processing, and clear communication of critical results. It contributes to laboratory operations that support patient care across the provider network.

What you'll do

• Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory testing
• follow quality control procedures
• operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments
• process and prepare specimens
• communicate critical results
• document testing, QC, and maintenance
• maintain a clean, organized, safe laboratory
• collaborate with technologists and clinical staff.
