The teacher supports The Learning Experience’s 2-year-old classroom and implements its L.E.A.P. Curriculum. The role leads daily learning and care routines that support toddlers’ communication, independence, and social-emotional development. It also guides Assistant Teachers and builds regular communication with families to maintain a safe, welcoming classroom.
What you'll do
- Lead classroom routines, activities, and learning experiences
- implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- create experiences through art, sensory play, music, movement, language, early learning, and imaginative play
- support communication, independence, and social-emotional development
- provide positive guidance
- assist with toileting, meals, and rest
- document development
- collaborate with Assistant Teachers and families
- maintain a safe classroom and follow New York licensing and center requirements.
