Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role is onsite in Carmel, IN, five days per week, split between Weaver Fundraising and Weaver Popcorn headquarters. Compensation is $65,000–$75,000 per year. Weaver Popcorn produces popcorn products, and this role supports HR operations across several Weaver companies. The generalist keeps day-to-day HR processes organized and accurate, supporting recruiting, benefits, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, HR systems, compliance administration, and employee engagement. The role partners with the Head of Human Resources and leadership, escalating strategic or compliance matters while carrying out administrative responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Support benefits enrollment and administration
• coordinate full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles
• manage onboarding and offboarding administration
• coordinate payroll for employees and 1099 contractors
• maintain HRIS changes, coding, and payroll tax setup
• assist with HR reporting, headcount tracking, and projects
• maintain confidential personnel files and HR system data
• track compliance deadlines and documentation
• assist with safety compliance, training, and OSHA reporting
• perform office administrative duties as needed.

Why this role
