What you'll do

• Screen donors to determine eligibility
• perform whole blood collection and therapeutic phlebotomy
• collect blood at offsite drives and donor centers
• obtain blood specimens
• monitor donors during and after collection
• prepare and label blood components and laboratory samples
• maintain donor records and data entry
• document deferrals and quality-control standards
• assist with donor recruitment and outreach
• check and replenish supplies
• maintain clean work areas
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• protect confidential information
• provide customer service.

Why this role

Requires prior phlebotomy experience and BLS certification; rotating day shifts may run from 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.
