What you'll do
- Manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- develop strategy with the Managing Partner and client
- research California law and investigate facts
- draft pleadings, motions, discovery, memoranda, and other litigation documents
- take and defend depositions
- appear at hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
- negotiate with opposing counsel
- update clients
- maintain case records, deadlines, and billing entries
- supervise a paralegal and legal assistant.
